The "Abraham Accords" Diplomacy Made Through Cash and Bombs

First off, for those of you that the unfortunately titled "Abraham Accords" don't ring a bell it is the internationally "acclaimed" opening of relations signed between Israel and two Gulf monarchies: UAE and Bahrain and a month later, North African nations: Morocco and Sudan. The original treaty was signed on the White House lawn in September of 2020 and Morocco and Sudan joined a month later. It was quickly lauded as a major breakthrough in relations between countries previously at odds due to Israel's actions toward Palestine in Gaza and especially the settlement buildings in West Bank. Jared Kushner and Mike Pompeo, after bruising their hands patting each other on the back managed to bribe two poor North African nations ; Morocco and even the Sudan whose government still were on the list of state sponsors of terrorism the day before their inclusion. This decision certainly had to make one wonder what was the obvious motive behind why the Sudan of all nations would dare open relations with Israel despite the move being heavily protested by the civilian population. Cash, what else? Well technically sanction relief which to the newly installed military regime was an absolute no brainier. We'll get more into the accords and the reasoning behind these arab speaking countries, previously friends to the Palestinian people, to completely stab them in the back.

The truth is this piece of diplomacy was a farce from the beginning. The UAE, even more so then their Saudi neighbors are wolves in sheeps clothing. Pretending to be a peaceful gulf monarchy, interested in benevolent endeavors like tourism and space exploration, but in reality they have the same militaristic, imperialistic goals as Iran, Israel and Saudi Arabia. Part of the conditions of signing the Abraham Accords were so the US would continue to selling the most sought after air force jet in the world, the F35 for "defense purposes" among  other weaponry(As reported by TheAtlantic.com) but we all know the UAE is continually building up it's military to keep the ongoing disasterous war in Yemen to drag on so they could get their preferred regime eventually in place, so we can expect more dead civilians and more starving children. Bahrain on the other hand seemed to just follow suit strictly for weapons sales and money, so they, similarly to the Emirates, sold their souls for some missles and currency, forgetting that Israel is still bombing and slaughtering fellow Muslims without reprisals.

The most curious signee, the Sudan, couldn't be happier to join the accords, despite the Sudanese previous human rights crimes, including the Darfar genocide which an estimated 400 thousand people were killed, raped and enslaved(numbers compiled by worldwithoutgenocide.org). Although, dictator Omar al-Sharif was overthrown in 2019 the fact Sudan was immediately taken off the state sponsor of terrorism list and Hamas remains is a laughable piece of hypocrisy. Donald Trump and his radically Pro-Israel diplomacy was willing to immediately eliminate sanctions just to gain another nation's signature on this fanciful peace treaty. Sudan agreed to pay 335 million dollars in retribution for previous acts of terrorism, but that seems quite a measly amount considering that the World Bank made 1 billion dollars available to the Sudanese government immediately upon signing the treaty, according to trtworld.com.

The final signotorie of the "Abraham Accords" were Morocco. Seemingly, this one came out of nowhere but if you look more closely at what's been going on in southern Morocco, it won't be as mysterious as to why their sudden change of heart. The Polisario Front, as they're known in English, are a separatist movement which was formed by students of the Sawari University in the Western Sahara region near  Morocco's border with Mauritania, info obtained by britannica.com. Why is this of relevance, well the group have been attempting to gain autonomy over that region for 40 years. Unfortunately for them, despite support from Algeria, have been unable to do so mainly because Morocco has a strong diplomatic relationship with the United States and the Polisario Front's idealogy leans towards Socialism/Communism and we know how the US government feels about that. So, that's likely the main purpose of Morocco joining the treaty with the others ( And off course financial aid surely played a large role as well). As for Israel, Morocco has maintained a secretly cordial relationship with them over the past 30 years.

The whole point of Trump's so called "Deal of the century" was to work out a two state solution between Palestine and Israel, where so many others have failed since the nation of Israel was founded in 1948. Now these aren't the first Arab speaking countries to normalize relations with Israel. Egypt opened relations with Israel in 1979 six years after the Yom Kippur War of 1973(information gathered from teachmideast.org). US President Jimmy Carter along with Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister  Begin signed the Camp David accords. It's a piece of solid diplomacy that has stood the test of time. Egypt realized they were unable to compete with Israeli armed forces and figured it had enough and needed a more constientious approach to dealing with Israel.

Back to Palestine and how they rightfully boycotted an economic forum in January 2019  setup by the Trump and Netayahu admistrations to try and buy off Palestinian leadership for not only land that doesn't legally belong to them but to guarantee Palestine would cease any violence towards Israel. And unfortunately all Palestine got for this courageous act of defiance was 60 million dollars of funding for the Palestinian Authority (P.A.) previously received yearly from the United States cut by the Trump admistration due to Palestines lack of participation. (According to BBC news).

Thankfully, Zionist flag bearers, Donald Trump, Jared Kushner, and Mike Pompeo are no longer calling any shots on foreign policy. Don't expect too much to change  though, Joe Biden is staunchly Pro-Israel and judging from his 200 million dollar Raytheon made missile systems sale to Egyptian autocrat, Abdel Fatah El-Sisi(information obtained by aljazeera.com), he evidently isn't shy about selling arms to dictators. Biden and his Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, promised to hold any nation suspected guilty of Human Rights infractions accountable seems extremely hollow after such a weapon sale. If anything, the incoming Democratic adminstration has mentioned trying to build upon the "Abraham Accords" despite the obvious gaps and false pretenses this treaty  represented, especially for any hope of a Palestinian State. President Biden threw the P.A. a proverbial bone by reinstating much needed humanitarian aid, after the UN's agency in charge of the Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) expressed the dire situation due to the lack of US funding, according to middleeasteye.net. Biden and his Middle East advisors have voiced their hopes of bringing up the dreaded two state solution lost cause, but in my mind that is merely more lip service.

The "Abraham Accords" is one piece of legislation that Biden and Co. have no intention of overturning.  President Biden's obsession with bi-partisanship  surely means this treaty, signed for all the wrong reasons, will remain in effect for the long-term. Surely the ultimate winner is Zionism, per usual, and also the other signees will benefit from it in a myriad of ways. And the ones who were originally supposed to be not only involved in the negotiations of the accords, Palestine, but also benefit, were completely left out in cold.

  1. The Abraham Accords are not worth the paper they are written on. Muslims, Jews and Christians trace their ancestry to Abraham who was the original holder of the title-deeds to a physical property and to spiritual security. People of every era want their own identity and often tie it to family trees or national history. Land owning Palestinians have kept records of descent in order to prove their titles to their properties. And many still have keys to homes confiscated by the Zionist Israelis who currently occupy their homes (and land) since 1948. In the same way Zionism traces its claim to Palestine from Abraham although he had never taken possession of it himself.

The evil that Zionism perpetrates today is akin to Abraham creating a bad situation with the Canaanites by passing off Sarah, his wife, as his sister to preserve his own life (Gen 12 and 20.) In the Sodom and Gomorrah incident (Gen. 18-19), Abraham is compassionate towards man and could not make a righteous judgment, even when God condemned them for their wicked deeds and abominable sin. Sadly, they could not find ten men in the city so that God would not destroy it.

This I see as the ultimate end of Zionist Israel. You cannot please God in any way by lying, stealing and murdering in order to secure your spiritual identity with Abraham and with Him. The land is meaningless to God as the body is now the temple of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ our Lord.
