Mother Of All Things

Apathy and sadness,   Feelings one could never cherish.  Allow me to repent my sins  Long before I perish. Spiritually dead and emotionally blank. Continually read, as the scenery shrank I dreamt the world was in the palm of my  hands. My legs felt like jelly, so I could barely stand The mother of all things spoke of tragedy. Pictures of fire and melting ice ravage me. What have we done to the forest and ocean Blue waves move in such a listless motion. Some might ask, what's the big commotion? There's no money made in mass pollution, Maybe that'll be the best solution. No more wars, just more resources We need oil for cars, cause who rides horses The devil's in the details, no time for apologies. Just fill up your jails, make no peace with your enemies. Nihlism, tribalism, money and wealth, Will she love me, in sickness or health? Empathy is something truly hard to find, Why worry about your garbage? When I've already got mine, Would you really love me, til death u

The Latest Plague

Look at the scenes unfolding, In the streets, in the markets. An orgy of sickness and death. Government sanctioned misery, Is it that much of a mystery? Worse germ in modern history. In the age of science, In the age of technology, Could all this just be a bunch of nonsense? Madness in the lines outside the stores. Swear they'll never have enough, Always seems they're needing more. Isn't this apocalypse such a fucking bore? Invisible enemy sent here to kill us, 24 hour news coverage meant to thrill us. You ever feel that intense surveillance? Cameras on every sign and every pole, Is there any privacy for you? Because I know they've stolen mine, It seems their eyes are always draped upon you. Are the numbers they're giving you really true? You know lately I'm having trouble breathing, It's even worse when I started eating Could this be the latest plague?  The information seems awfully vague, When the looting and riots start, You'll see more around in cert

Trumpism, It's Own Pandemic.

The world forever changed on Friday, January 20th 2017. It was the day the supposed shining beacon of democracy was drastically reduced beginning what was to be a four year sideshow on a dreary rain soaked evening. The county's leadership was turned over to a failed real estate mogul, reality. t.v.castoff, sexist, xenophobic charlatan named Donald Trump. With the help of certain foreign adversaries, those last four years have been nothing short of a calamitous disaster. Donald J. Trump, only in America was chosen to rescue Washington DC from the languishing economic and bureaucratic swamp it had certainly become.      Donald got to work quickly, using his executive powers to pass anti immigration, anti muslim orders. Shortly after entering the white house he extended tax breaks for the ultra wealthy which to many educated onlookers was bound to happen sooner rather than later. Jobs, seemingly were plentiful. By June, 2018 the national unemployment rate dropped to a miniscule 3.

Dystopian Post Election Chaos

Picture the scene unfolding, late night November 3rd. Unlike the 2016 election most pundits, despite polls from nearly every news source predicted a much closer, more contentious election. They mentioned, that more than likely the results may not be conclusive until days, if not weeks after election day.     The madness began with president Trump's bombastic threat to the nation that he may not be willing to transfer power peacefully should he be defeated. Trump's dangerous and undemocratic rhetoric spewed from his disgusting, uncensored mouth as if it were just another insulting tweet. I'm not sure what his strategy or benefit is to make such a maniacal proclamation. Trump has been ignorantly bashing mail in ballots despite the fact they've been used on and off since 1864, without much controversy. The Gore vs. Bush 2000 election nightmare in Florida notwithstanding, the ballots have always been relatively ignored and not not necessarily needed.      Covid-19 arrived

Nuclear Winter

I've dug myself from a frozen summer Only to relive this nuclear Winter. One must try and wonder, After all the rain and thunder  Will there be sunshine when I die? Self destruction, lord knows the many ways I've tried. Only to awake and heat the angels gently sigh. It's a nuclear Winter from December till July I've built a prison somewhere in my mind. With barbed wire and hundred rifles stacked behind. The walls of this cold place I've been so many times, Even in the instances I didn't commit any crimes. I put myself in this cold and darkened cell. It inspires me to see the light. There's so many wistful stories I could tell But it'd be only a blight on my polluted landscape. Nobody can see the carnage I've left in my wake. There's just too much caution tape Breakfast at tiffany's, st.james bible  Not too much to chose from  So many books forever left untitled. In this prison of my mind. It's hard never too return once you've been in
